Neville Page Academy — Founding Cohort
Welcome to the first founding cohort of Neville Page Academy, an advanced online design course created and taught by Neville Page.
This six-week live course is designed for artists, designers, creature designers, concept artists, sculptors, storytellers, and creative professionals who want to strengthen not only their technique, but their ability to think, observe, problem-solve, and design with greater purpose.
Rather than focusing only on software or surface-level execution, this course explores the deeper principles behind strong design: observation, biology, storytelling, function, form, anatomy, psychology, ideation, presentation, and professional creative discipline.
The founding cohort will meet live online once per week for six weeks.

This masterclass is a focused introduction to the thinking behind Neville Page Academy. In the first cohort, we go deeper — with six weeks of guided design development, discussion, process, critique, and professional creative discipline.
Before the first cohort of Neville Page Academy begins, I’m releasing a special 2-hour edited masterclass on creature design and design thinking.
I’ll be developing an original creature head from the ground up — using reference, anatomy, function, silhouette, story, and discovery as the foundation.
I’ll also be drawing from some of the philosophical approaches I used while working on Avatar, not to recreate anything from that world, but to show how real-world observation and design logic can lead to something original.
